I was just reading http://www.zenproblog.com/2008/10-techniques-to-create-passive-income/ and I agree with most of what he has to say. 1. Resource Websites 2. Subscription sites 3. Application sites 4. Directories 5. Blogs 6. eBooks 7. Hosting 8. Selling Stock Files 9. Sell Infinite Products 10. Sell for Someone Else I was just wondering, from your perspective, which of the 10 is the most profitable (most profit from least effort).
Ok, My top picks for making passive income with the least amount of continued effort (note that set up and implementation of the sites might vary in effort needed) I have listed these in order of what I beleive to be best to not so best - once implemented, these you could easily work on for 1-2 hours a week and still make a nice income. 1. eBooks 2 .Subscription sites 3. Resource Website 4. Directories 5. Application sites These take quite a lot more work for a single person, and would consume more than 1-2 hours per day 5. Blogs (adding content daily.. yes you can schedule content.. or pay article writers, but getting a true blog to make a good passive income does take a lot of work) 7. Hosting (unless you pay someone to do your support this can easily be 1-2hours a day of work) Hope that helps.. with regards to the other options, I have never had experience in those.
3. Application sites = Great income 9. Sell Infinite Products = Quite good but not steady 1. Resource Websites = Not too much I love application sites the most. Especially the one that you can leave it for months (for vacation or developing new applications) and still generating great income. 2. Subscription sites = Haven't tried it yet 4. Directories = Haven't tried it yet 5. Blogs = Haven't tried it yet 6. eBooks = Haven't tried it yet, not a writer 7. Hosting = Haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty sure it need lots of time 8. Selling Stock Files = Haven't tried it yet, not an artist 10. Sell for Someone Else = Haven't tried it yet, working on it.
