which novel do you like best?

I like reading some great novels. And I think Duras Marguerite's L'Amant is really great. So what is your favorite novel?

 

i like Robert Ludlums Pelican brief, Borne Identity and etc..
the movie versions of his novel seem different from the story in the novel

 

GRR Martin's series. Okay, it's not one novel, but it's one story.

 

"The Monk who sold his Ferrari" is my favorite.....this is really too good and inspires you a lots...

The Ice People (La Nuit des Temps), by Rene Barjavel

 

Rich Dad Poor Dad - a nice novel to read. It tells about the differences between a rich and a poor father, it describes how two different people nourish their children very interestingly.

 

Pride and Prejudice

 

I really enjoyed reading the novels of Paulo Coelho, especially The Alchemist. It's such a wonderful book!

 

I like the Wizards Rules books. Very philosophical.

 

Sydey sheldon,and wings of the fire by abdul kalam.

 

'The Old Man and The Sea' by Hemingway.

 

Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse is my favorite.

i like the novel veronica decides to die....that's an awesome book by paulo coelho...very entertaining..

 

I find Charles Dickens stories very interesting and I enjoy reading on my sofa with a cup of hot coffee

 

My favorite was Shogun by James Clavell. I proceeded to read Taipan and Noble House by the same author that were based in Hong Kong where i lived. I was particularly offended by Noble House then because it protrayed Hong Kongers as a bunch of depraved sex perverts. But now, I realize a lot of the stuff is actually true.
