    hi,

I am planning to start a site and wanted to know which niche would be best in which cost per click is also good and and the no. of searches are also good.

I have been thinking of starting a site on loans or something related to financing sector.

Can you guys give me some tips on it.

    Thank you

If I were you, I would choose a niche that is close to my interest or something that I have more knowledge or ideas. In this way, I know how to set up the business and how to continuously manage and handle it to make it well-established.

I would also take into consideration that it has good searches and high CTR. SO if you guys can tell me few niche which generally have a CTR above 12% would be great.

yes I know that I should only go with the niche I am most interested in, but again I have to also earn money and see about the competition for the keyword.

every niche rules. Just pick one and go about it. competitive niches have more competition, your page will not show up early. You might get more on a single click, but your total revenue will hardly be changed as small niches attract less marketeers. So your competition will be less. so you will have more visitors.

Make a list of every specific topic that interests you enough to want to read and write about consistently. Then visit cj.com and/or linkshare.com and check out all the affiliate programs you can promote related to those interests. You can rely on adsense if you want, but affiliate programs usually make more money and can be better integrated into a site. Unless you have seo experience, I recommend picking a less competitive niche. I don't recommend the finance niche as it is very competitive and tough for a new site to get much traffic. If in doubt, start 2 or 3 sites at once and gradually focus more on whichever one has more success.
