I regularly check (in the order),

CNN, BBC, news.google.com (first Sci/Tech, Business and then India section), NDTV (India news)

I try for several sources but Yahoo is where I start. They link to Reuters, AP, Knight-Ridder, Christian Science Monitor.

I am looking more to columnists and opinion that are linked to from these as well, and I also get lots of info (links to news stories) and opinion on Huffington Post.
Basically, I try for a variety, including USAToday and, don't laugh to hard (!) - Peoples Daily !

I am admitedly progressive/liberal/libertarian; this is my favourite Media Matters

For local and national news, I take it from the local media. However, for international news, I don't have any choice but to take it on CNN. Our TV only affords one channel, and it's CNN.

Google news to scan headlines (I had it customised once very nicely with Google news etc. but lost the settings and can't be arsed to fix them). ZDnet e-commerce and ZDnet search technology and IMRG for UK e-commerce news. And Google Blogoscoped from Phillipe Lensen every now and then. Besides that, people posting on DP are my newsaggregators.

Google or Yahoo. The main media sources suck.

Problem is the lefties have, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc etc, Righties only have WND and Rush. Fox is HARDLY right wing, if anything I consider them liberal.

He could be considered Conservative but not right wing. Fox is far from right wing. I would consider Fox a moderate station if it need a political name attached.
