Which network should i join as a merchant? shareasale or linkconnector?

I am thinking about joinging an affiliate network as a merchant. I have merchandise that i'm selling and would join as a pay per sale merchant. I'm trying to determine which network to join.

Linkconnector is free to join right now but has a $100 monthly min fee.

Shareasale is $550 to join and only $25 monthly fee.

CommissionJunction is just way too much for me right now.

    Any other networks worth it?

Also is it good to join more than one network as a merchant or should i just stick with one?

    Hi netpox,

Shareasale has a great following and a great reputation with affiliates. It's worth it to pay more to go where the affiliates are and to go with the network they like best.

"Also is it good to join more than one network as a merchant or should i just stick with one?"

I strongly recommend staying with one network instead of dividing your focus. 2 networks is twice the work but not always twice the rewards. Plus if you join 2 networks you need to do some additional internal tracking to be sure you aren't paying 2 affiliates for the same sale.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

What niche are you in? If you give us a little more information on your products, we could probably provide you with a little more information.

i think you should try to diversify. Shareasale is fine but many coupon sites so be ready to play the game with them.
