Hello, DP members! Just wanted to ask you if you use a netbook. I bought Lenovo s3-10 sometime ago - this is really great!
I use an MSi U100 series. It's so cool. It's the most stable netbook I used so far. It's compatible with different OS like XP, Vista, Windows 7 and even Mac OS Leopard (hackintosh method).
Asus with Windows 7. A nice stable netbook that starts quick and has great battery life, but I am not impressed with the Windows 7 mini-edition that comes standard. You can't even change the background desktop image unless you upgrade the OS for like $79.
Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Intel Atom Netbook. I always use it when I travel with my family.
I use the exact same one. Except it came with Windows XP preinstalled, so I wiped the hard drive and installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix However, when I first bought mine I had a defective battery. But I was able to send it in to get a replacement, and now everything works perfectly fine!
I have an Acer... used to use an Asus but the keyboard died on me. And I bought an iPad two month ago.
I've got one of the original EEE 701s. Upgraded the ram, and I'm still running the original zandros OS on it. One of these days I'll get around to installing the netbook version of Ubuntu on it [I run Ubuntu on my main desktop, and my other laptop]. Right now I'm trying to decide whether to buy one of those Chinese ipad knock-offs [like the "APAD"] running Android - has anyone here got one of those?
