Which gray? I'd added a lighter one as a sort of "compromised" option. :) Now it's:

    Dark Gray
    Light Gray
    White

I'm glad I asked before just making the total changeover to white. Thanks for all the feedback. :)

Thanks Ajeet. I certainly trust your judgement. :)

If it's not too much of a pain in the butt for everyone, I have one more question actually regarding this site:

Do you think having the red links is too much red? Should I leave the red maybe to headings, bullets, etc.? If so, what do you think would work for the links? Just black or gray? Something else entirely? Thanks. :) And sorry for not thinking of that in the original post. :)

Well oddly enough, I went to check my adsense earnings today for this site after someone here asked what the clicks average. Only 2 clicks there today (more than likely from this thread since I haven't done anything to market the site lately), and one was like $1.10 and the other I think was around $1.54. Not bad. :)

It's not even my best site for click rates... my directory at www.freedeeplinks.com does better (most likely on the sites related to Halloween, where a lot of the traffic goes now, or the business forums page - both featured in the header). I didn't expect a directory to do well, so I'm glad. :)

But I guess business sites in general probably have good potential. :)

I would have done the following:

    Gone with the white,
Added a border to the navigation,(probably grey or the color of the line seperating the logo from the content.)
Used regular blue color for links in navigation,
    Bolded the links.

May be added a tiny tiny arrow before the link.
Might have rounded the border towards the bottom.

Otherwise, I think the white is good.
    Bye :)

I like the white, more appealing to the eye! Personally I think the red works well also.

I am a big fan of red for links because they look good. But, on one of my sites I noticed that people are not figuring out that they are "links". I conducted usability experiments where I observed surfers at my site. Though it was only over about 30 people, I could notice that people did not recognize the links.

That's what I was worried about. I remembered having a discussion along those lines back with one of the networks. I'll toy with it if I have some time for it today, and see if I can find something that might work. :) Thanks! :)

Thanks everyone. :) I think I'm going to go with the light gray option. :) I'll play with link colors and probably find some shade of blue... if it looks awful, I'll go back to red. I appreciate all the feedback. :)
