If you dont mind me asking, how much is your typical click worth on that site? I see a lot of financial ads on there. I know nothing about finance so I was just wondering.

    lol Darn, still tied. ;)

My clicks on that site as a whole pay really well on average (I'd say $.30-.50), but most would probably come where most of my traffic is, which is the press release-related articles, and those ads are usually pretty well targeted to PR. It's not uncommon for me to get $.80-2.00 / click on the consulting subdomain there, but far fewer clicks b/c I've been completely slacked on adding content there and driving traffic (why I'm trying to "pretty it up" a tiny bit now).

    Both are well done.

IMO you should go for the grey; with the white you get a "white washed" look which makes the site however full, still seem empty.

Grey also gives off a much warmer feel, more comfortable for viewing.

Also - makes it much easier to find the nav links at a glance.

Either way - good stuff :)

I like both of them, however, the grey does tend to 'break it up' a bit and add 'character', for lack of a better way of putting it.

    My vote: grey

I just wish the gray didn't have such an "ugly" or "gloomy" feel to it. OK. Try this one. It's a compromise between the two; a gray to keep a bit of contrast, but a lighter one to get rid of the dark gloomy look:

Any better? Or still one of the originals?

    Thanks everyone. :)

i think the white one will actually work better, specially if your trying to make it blend with adsense :)
