Which logo looks better?

The Logo with the chrome and the car looks more like an automotive logo, the first logo reminds me of Adidas or a delivery service or flying if it didn't say automotive i would walk past it at a distance.

The second one looks a lot more professional but it would look better with solid border.

yes, i the first is a bit classic, pehaps because there is no shading and lightening...

 

I think you should be looking at which logo is best for your target market, the first would be perfect for old fashion car restoration however the 2nd may appeal to younger market.

 

I think the 1st one 2nd one looks bit fake for some reason lol.

If your site relates to some automobile stuff. then second one will be a better option.

The first one will be much harder to work with for branding. Square logos that contain the text within the design are really hard to fit into a wide range of places. You'll be stuck making the logo small for any rectangular spots.
