I have checked your website and I think the most suitable logo for your site is the Logo With the Chrome and Car
The first is the best concept but still needs work to help give it dimension and look more modern. While the second looks more modern it is a rip off of the OCC logo which everyone already knows but maybe that could work in your favor. http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/posters/OC_CHOPPERS_BLACK.jpg
The first logo looks more professional, but kind of boring. The second one, however, fits with an "automotive touchup" company.
I like the second one better, but it's not really "corporate" looking. You might consider losing the chrome ring around it and just using the logo image inside to get the look your searching for.
That depends on what kind of image you want for your company. The first one says classy, the second says more modern. So it's really up to you. Both of them are pretty good.
I'd go with the second, but loose the chrome and keep the center image. One other thing is, on the symbolical side, the car is going backwards. I know the designer tried to be out of the ordinary, but it kinda sends the wrong message.
Hi There, I think the first one looks a bit dated so I would go for the second, it seems more relevant to what you do, Mal.
Looking "professional" is only part of the decision factor. Yes, #1 looks professional, but what does it say to your prospective customer? When I first saw it, I did not think automotive. In fact, it was too "busy" and made me want to look away. While the 2nd one was very obvious what your business was about. I immediately knew it as auto related and involved touchups. End of story. Image stuck in my head. I related. And it would be easy to recognize and remember in the future. Branding is important and the easier your logo is to recognize, recall, and identify with, the greater the impact. Less is more! Dave
The first one looks better and will be much easier to print on collateral materials like letterhead and business cards.
