I've just been messing with some online DIY logo tools and wanted some feedback before committing to one of them the site: a real estate directory, I want it to be fast, and low graphics, but it does need something. the examples: http://www.realstate.ws/index.php?custom=yes&TID=custom-logo I've numbered them, and would appreciate your feedback. thanks Sarah
2, 4, and 7 are my favorites. Shannon ------------ I posted my reply before reading replies of others. Just goes to show you beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
thanks for the feedback. The grids are because they're just drafts - have to pay the $$$ to get a version without the grids
I don't really like any of them, for a professional company they look a little bit amateurish. There's a section on great logos at coolhomepages.com somewhere, maybe that's worth a trawl for ideas. Imo, logos should be very simple and very memorable, and nothing else.
Oh, nass, there's nothing vaguely professional about any of them, used online tools to create them. mcfox - can I use that one? I'm hoping the 2.5k was the file size and not the price
I like #3 (the one with the globe).... it's the only one where the image is real estate related (globe... land... properties) and it's simple enough that it would work for both online & offline printing.
Sarah, I'm not so keen on any of them either and like Mcfox's one better. Of the drafts, I would say maybe 1 and 7. I notice nobody else likes 1, so that just shows I am weird and I don't like the way the last box cuts off on 7.
