Which link exchange networks do you recommend?

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums, so let me start by saying hello to you all! I've been working as an SEO for a good few years now and recently took and in-house position for a major online travel agent. Although I've never posted here I find myself reading posts on Digital Point an awful lot.

This isn't really a question for the sites I work on during my day job, more for my own personal sites.

I've been a member of a few link exchange networks but never really thought they were much cop.

So I put it to you:
Which link exchanges do you think have actually helped increase your ranking?

Which ones do you know are valuable and have a decent vetting process, so you don't end up with gambling and pornography links?

i don't think automatic link exchange network will help you to increase your site ranking.
i'm sure they will help you to get intro trouble with google.

 

i dont suggest any of the link exchange networks.

they may hurt your web site

maybe try link2me.com, even for free member is fine

 

rather build your link manually with HQ sites in your niche

 

Build your links mannually .Never go for auotomatic software for exchanging links

 

Thanks for the replies guys. I see that nearly all of you are clearly against link exchange networks. This was pretty much my feeling but I thought there may have been a few gems out there I'd missed.
