Hi, There have been different strategies for link building such as the following. Directory Submission Article Submission PR Submission Blogging Blog Commenting Forum Posting Social Bookmarking Social Networking Link Exchange Buying/Selling Links All of these approaches are not that much effective except blogging and some how social bookmarking. Do you know any other way to have quality back links?
They are all effective you just have to implement them right. There is a science to each strategy and what works for one won't for another. You should invest in some info products for each approach to learn a system that's works.
"not that much effective except blogging" Well bloggin' in higher PR blogs would be better than just blogging. Blogging in .edu & .gov blogs would be better. So on that long list higher value links wherever you can would be better.
most of them work to some extent. while forum posting gives you backlinks, those links hardly have any value. link exchanges require a lot of time and follow ups and google discounts links gained from link exchanges if done too much. buying/selling links can be a bot risky if you are not buying from a safe source. links form known link farms will penalize your site. other then that, rest are good
Directory submissions and forum sig. links had always worked for me. I think every strategy works if it is implemented in the right way.
I think he is more interested in the bit in bold... Do you know any other way to have quality back links? Classified free ads also show up but I think they will go after a while as the ad will expire.
There are lot of ways to build Backlinks. You can find some ways here List of Off-Page SEO Strategies to Build Online Reputation .........
"PR" stands for Press Release. See for example http://www.prlog.org/ Now what does "puf" mean...? Never heard that one before!
Yes, you are absolutely correct. I try to go with appropriate strategy with each of them. But, I feel I am not getting benefit out of these anymore except few. I am not in favor of directory submissions anymore. Only few of the directories do have worth, rest all are now link farms which is not preferred. Only good and well maintained directories driving PR juice will be fine. It is funny to see "puf" Might be some expression toward link building
Thanks for reminding me this option too. I had forgot it almost. Yes, a short term advantage but a way out definitely. Good to add it.
ok couple more... Link wheels Angela and Paul link building Although, I think these ones could land you in trouble.... what do other people think? buuuut, if they could land you in trouble... then whats to stop you (other than a large amount of time) building dubious links to your competitiors sites in the hope of getting them penalized?
Just getting started on this myself. My main source so far has been through contributing to blogs that are relevant to my site and article submissions.
Include also the following: directory submission classified ads online groups RSS feeds hub page link wheel
I'm agree with miche11e, he has given right point of view. Every work needs its proper implementation. If you focus any one of above these works in effective manner I think the positive result can be obtain in quick ways.
