Which laptop is better?

Right now I have the following:

Dell inspiron 9300 (XPS clone)

17"lcd
100gb hard drive
2gb ddr2
dvd cd burner combo drive
nvidia geforce 6800 ultra 256mb
intel centrino mobile 1.8Ghz pinmodded to 2.4Ghz

I am planning on selling it, and it is on ebay. Anyway, which of the following laptops are better then my dell? I know they all have a dual core, but graphics need to be better too. Screen size don't matter to me, as long as its 15.4 or bigger.

So which is better then mine? I will upgrade from 1gb of ram to 2gb in the ones that don't have 2gb, just show me the links with the laptops that are better then what I have.

That is a website I was going by for graphics, which I don't know if thats a good website to go by, but my graphics card is 24th on the list, and its amazing. I can play crysis and everything on High settings, but the cpu isn't the best.

I was thinking about the second to last link, the nvidia geforce 9500gt, 3gb of ram, ect. I never ever had a computer/laptop with 3gb of ram, so that thing would kick.

 

please tell me which laptop is better.

I am thinking the second one down is a lot faster, but the 3rd one down has a better graphics card, please tell me if I am right.

No way.. You should buy the HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop.. It is BRILLIANT. Graphics are amazing.. I have it.. PM me for help if needed

I would keep the laptop, unless you have alot of money(and going to give me some) to spend.

 

I do like my laptop, but its a dell, and I am unsure if I can upgrade the cpu to a core 2 duo. It would be nice to have a core 2 duo.

I am a computer IT pro, so I can put a core 2 duo in my laptop, but the thing is, I don't know if it supports a core 2 duo.

 

XPS > *. I have Asus G1 and I can tell you that you can't place your hand on it, that's how hot it gets. I'm going to get an XPS in a few months.

 

I can find a better cooling solution. I can sell you my xps if you want, if it don't sell on ebay.

I think it is, but the cpu is a little slower then I would like, but thats alright.

I am either going with an asus or another dell, depending on how much I get for my dell xps.

I hate dells customer service, cause if I wanted somebody to flirt with that is what dating services are for. I tried 2 times over a few months time calling them, and same time I got 2 different females on the phone, but all they did was flirt, they wouldn't try and help me out, and they tried selling me a laptop with integreted x3100 or something, and they said that graphics would play the latest games.

 

I've started buying and selling laptops for a while, but I can't get rid of this dell xps. The first laptop I bought, I paid $450.00, and it was a piece of crap Alienware. I mean it was good, but in bad shape, cause the insides where abused. I had to bend metal back, put thermal paste on the cpu, cause no thermal paste was on the cpu, so it ran better when I was done with it, and I didn't know what graphics card it had till I got it. It had an ati radeon 9200, which wasn't too bad, but not the greatest. The keyboard didn't work, bios battery was dead, so I replaced both, and after all of that work, I still sold it for $100.00 more then I paid.

I really don't want to buy another used laptop, cause of those problems I had, and the person I bought it from said it wasn't their laptop, she said she bought it for her BF, but then they brooke up, so he is the one that messed it all up.

 

If you loves AMD then settle for the COMPAQ - cheap and reliable.
HP support service is the best among all

 

I was going to go with an intel core 2 duo, unless amd dual core turions are better.
