which laptop is better?

    Hey guys,

Looking to buy a new laptop and I have no clue on the specs and other technical things so i thought i'd ask the digitalpoint community. My budget is £500 and I've searched and found three laptops. Now what i'm asking is your opinion in which laptop is better and in what ways.

I want the laptop to be fast and lag free. I also intend to keep this laptop for a couple of years so please do help. Please don't reply with any silly comments saying a budget of £500 won't get me anything good.

    The laptops i have seen:

    or

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_2485wt_905

    or

    http://h40059.www4.hp.com/uk/homelap...erience=direct

If any of you can browse around for me and find a better laptop with better specs would be great.

    Thanks for reading.

    Kind regards,

    Danger Boy.

I use a Toshiba laptop since 10jun11, about three weeks, and it's very fast, slim and cool. Why go for HP?

I would prefer for ASUS as I'm also using it. Only ASUS gives 2 years warranty which no other brand gives.

Hey Dangerboy: last year I bought a Toshiba laptop, 4 gb RAM, 500 Mb in hard drive, etc. It was so good but it crashed several times in the first month, so I decided to returned to the Store and I changed it for MacBook Pro, in the beginning was so complicated because any Mac is another world, different way to open and close any windows, and I almost returned it to get a regular Windows system Laptop, but I started to discover how great is this Mac and now I have this Mac laptop and also another Mac desktop. So if you have enough money to buy a Mac Laptop, do it. don't forget Mac is another world, so you will need to buy any additional software (like Office or any other) in a Mac version.

    Best Regards,

I like where she is going because they are the best BUT its time to upgrade to the computer I have HP Pavilon Dv7. You will love it.

I would not go for a custom computer build because now a days technology gets old faster. Technology out dates about ever two years now.
