Which Laptop is best for Graphic Design?

Hi, I'm planing to buy a new laptop for the new year. Not sure MacBook or PC laptop. Still I'm on the fence. I have seen lot of articles which say MacBook Pro is the best for Graphic Designs. But these are the things which I'm considering before buying the laptop.
    • Portability: I'm a University student, so often, I go here and there carrying my laptop. So the weight of the laptop should be less.
    • High quality Display: Main softwares I use are Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Wanna Play some games: I'm a big fan of FIFA game. So the laptop should support FIFA 14,15
    • Price should be less than $1300
These are some PC laptops I found with these features:
Lenovo Y50, Dell XPS 15(2014), HP Envy Touchsmart 15

Please tell me which one is the best? Are there any suggestions?

For graphic design I'd go for the Mac Pro with Retina display, but I believe it doesn't support fifa games. On the other hand, if you with windows I'd recommend the ASUS ROG G750JM-DS71 17.3-inch Gaming Laptop

Well yeah it's a 17.3 inch laptop. Would you buy a 15 or 13 inch one? The smaller the lighter.

No matter if it is 13", 15" or 17". The only thing it should be lighter and easy to carry. Is that macbook air 13" enough for Photoshop/ Illustrator user?

Yeah definitely. It has 4 gb ram, not the best but it'll work well. That is more convenient though in terms of usage, it's VERY light and definitely the best for design, other than the pro.

But I would definitely recommend the pro instead. It's still very light and easy to carry, it has 8 gb ram, 2.6 GHz i5 processor, and it costs around $1300 with retina display (Which is greatt). If you're a student u could probably algo get a discount for around $100

actually i dont think that any laptop is good for graphic design. and you`ll ask why ?
its not because of the hardware. im sure that there are many machines with good parameters. its because of the display.. if you are print designer you`ll want to see what you gonna print. laptop displays cant be calibrated accurately. i worked on laptop before 4 years. and this was the main problem . everything else is okay. of course you can buy some extra memory to handle bigger files in Illustrator without lag and good CPU.

I wouldn't use a 13" macbook air for Photoshop or Illustrator. The screen is to small for the small details and the processor is slow. I would recommend a lower priced PC like a toshiba. The build quality will be lower but the processor speed and price will be right. You can score an awesome PC laptop for 400 bucks!

IMO laptops are not good for graphics design.
For graphics you need to get a desktop with the biggest highest quality screen you can afford. ISP monitor at least 27"

If I were you, I probably will be looking for a Macbook. For working they're the best! at least for me but if you're used to windows you should aim for gaming brands, you can find powerful notebooks quite cheap for what you need.

    Hello,

In my view, Toshiba (CB35-B3340) 13.3-Inch Chromebook 2, in Full-HD Screen is the best option for your Graphic Design works. The best point of this laptop its in 13.3 inch screen , so its very easy for use.

I own an HP Envy 15 Touchsmart and let me tell you that it's quite heavy. It has some wonderful functionalities including the touchscreen, beats audio, backlit keyboard, and sleek design, but the weight is ridiculous compared to how thin it looks.

If you need something portable since you're a student, accept the fact you will carry a heavier load.
