Most blogs are in English, probably because the target group is big, but how many people have a blog (and make money from it) which is not in English. Or would you always choose to blog in English?
I would choose english because most programs want english speaking people to look at thier products. You will have more programs you can use and get paid more.
Well, most of the people understands english so people prefers to blog in english language. But if you want something uniquesness within your country then start with your own country language. I have one friend who tries to call himself as a first nepali blogger because he blogs in nepali language. the national language of Nepal is called Nepali.
You should blog in the language of your readers, assuming you speak and write that language well. If you can't speak or write in the language, then question if you should be blogging for that audience.
My personal blog is in French, and I'm quite happy with it The niche is not very well paying, but I mostly do it for fun. If your only purpose is to make some money, of course, do your blog in English. If your native language is not English and you want to be read, blog in your native language.
The world language of business is English, so you'll be reaching more educated people if you use that language.
You will definitely want to blog in the language that the majority of your readers will be familiar with. And of course, if you can do so in English, that is probably the best idea...
Yeah you will reach far more people in English, but your competition would be bigger as well. Maybe it will depends on your niche as well.
In which language are you most proficient in ? Does that language lack quality bloggers in the field that you are planning to enter ? What kind of traffic do existing blogs in that language get ? Do they earn sufficient money ? Some questions for you to think on
You should blog in english and put the plugins of converting the language automatically to other languages.
Completely disagree. The quality of this translation is poor. If you speak multiple languages, then it can be worth making two (or more) versions, making the translations by yourself, otherwise I don't think it's worth it.
Only 2 language. English and Malay. I have several blog in english and Malays. But i always blog using english for make my content good.
I'm thinking to start Chinese blog based... China population about 1.3 billion.. Is there any market for Eng-ed people wanna learn Chinese?
Well, i didnt knew about this. In my blog i have the same service. I dont understand other language except english and nepali. So, i have no idea about how the translation is made. But atleast because of the traslation service peopl can understand the meaning of the articles trying to say.
Yep, but it's much better to find a related article in your own language... Unless the content is really unique
This might help you: - The top earning English blogs make over $1,000,000 per year - The top earning Non-English blogs make under $100,000 per year
Rightly said! But for me the earning point is not the only supporting factor for blogging in English, instead I'd love to expand my readership, and of course no other language than English can provide you with such a great number of readers.
Yes, but if English is not your native language, it's a bit difficult. For example, I know that my French content is high quality. I can translate it to English, and it will be easy to read, easy to understand, with only a few grammar mistakes, but it will not be the same!
