which keywords are easy to target in search engine ... Geo- based or generic ?

I start promotion for our site http://www.vacationcluster.com/ before 2 months , rite now didn't get any visits from search engines , just got visits from Referring sites . I would like to know that which keywords i have to target for get rankings as early as possible , basically my site based on USA.For now we are targeting Florida based keywords . so, should i have to target Geo based keywords or generic ?

We cant do your keyword research for you. Use th google keyword tool

 

The answer is simple, you will need to target the Geographical based keyword if you want to target only a specific state like Florida.

 

Search in Google Adwords Keyword tool using your site. It will show you a list of keywords. And then find out some keywords which have good search volume and little competition.

 

Geographic one is better since you can easily emphasize the location on your content, as well as lower competition compare to using general keyword.

Your niche is very competitive and its just two months... If you are targeting audience of particular region, its good to start with geo targeting. Global market is very big and ranking in such an extremely competitive niche would be difficult.

well, consider targeting generically for a few low competition keywords....then go for geo targeted traffic
