Yeah, books are good but considering the hours of effort you'd be putting behind those sales, books will leave you with pennies and cents. Then again, Amazon is about volume of sales, so i'd rather go for books and other physical products. That being said, i'd focus more on every other thing, other than books.
Thanks to all for active reply. I have domain named ComputerMarketPrice.com How it is suitable for selling related Items?
It does not matter what the domain is; seriously, it doesn't. If you've got good quality relevant content on your site that users find genuinely useful then it can be hosted upon "captainkirksleftnut.com" for all Google cares, its what the sites content is about more than anything; the domain name (and its keywords within) are becoming less and less a ranking factor these days. The web is going social (+1 anyone?), keep up.
yeah if you are famous on net then doesnot matter what domain you have but ur site should be user friendly.
Yeah, I like to sell the higher priced items, but you do need a bunch of smaller items to boost your percentages up so you can get the higher commissions.
I read some good advice the other day that I am currently trying to implement with Amazon affiliate site attempt number 2 (attempt number 1 didn't really work). This is true for every niche that isn't technology: 1 - Find a product that costs over $135 2 - It needs to have over 20 reviews 3 - The average rating for the reviews need to be four/five stars 4 - Type the keyword into Google keyword tool. If it has over 2000 searches a month and little competition it is worth advertising. You might also want to look at the graph for your specific keyword - this will show you whether your product is increasing in popularity or well dying a slow death. I'm attempting to implement this now so I will let you know how it goes. Crimebuster
I would say electronics can bring you nice commissions. However, I have no experience with this yet, as I'm a newbie to Amazon.
Not as nice as you may initially think - especially if you go down the technology route. And the market is so saturated you need to do something really special to get anywhere at all.
i think we must make a prediction on related condition before make decision to sale a stuff.. like now, before christmas. we can sale for many gift related to christmas.
Best thing to sell on amazon kindle books .. they are easy to create and sell with large quantity with full profit
The vast majority of things which I've been promoting since June 2011 have been technology products like TV's, Laptop's, Netbook's, Home Cinema Systems and Tablet's and already I'm nearly at the £200 mark for the month for earnings. Yes the market is saturated, but if you use the free Google keyword tool or any other keyword tool effectively then, you will find gaps which usually enable you to reach page one for longer tailed keywords. If you put in the research and find the right technology products then, believe me it WILL pay dividends in the long run. Mark
I choose some product categories such as computer equipments ( accessories ), security equipment and software. I don't know about 'best selling product', but I think if our site has many targeted visitors, we will got many selling CMIIW
