    My personal favorite is Railroad Tycoon

    Yet, the games that grab attention in my memory the most aren't any of the games available today. Some of mine:

    - Duke Nukem 3D
    - Quake 2
    - Battlefield: 1942
    - Dune 2
    - Warcraft 2

    well, I know it's an online game, but I've always been intrigued by World of Warcraft. ^_^ I don't get to play it much, but I apreciate the talent that has gone into the making of that game. I expecially love the artwork and captivating imagination. :) I never play for politics though... just for fun.
