It really depends on your purpose. Say, if you want to update your clients, Twitter would be the one. In terms of application, Facebook is the leader of the pack

 

Digg can get u the most traffic but its the hardest to get popular on. StumbleUpon is great, but not as much traffic as dig. SU is long term traffic though so you will keep getting views for a while, but basically you should attempt to get your best posts popular on all these sites if possible.

Twiter is the big player at the moment - A lot of people are sick of Digg and the diggorati crap
