    Hi,
I have used phpbb, vbulletin and smf for my forums. Although i liked all of them i became more attached to SMF over a period of time. Now i noticed that my forum traffic is through google search engine results and that my forum comes up with the main keywords search. However i also noticed that my forum topics are not getting spidered properly by search engines but my competitors forum threads are being displayed in search results.

So i want to know what is the best search engine friendly forum script out there (with or without mods). What do i have to do to get the search engines to index my forum topics correctly and display them as search results.

P.S > I also noticed that DP forum topics are indexed in search engine results wonderfully.... So whats the secret ? ;)

the pre modded phpbb looks good, but i already have a forum with lots of content and users based on smf... So like drumsoloartist asked "Is there such a mod for smf ? "

Also why aren't these mods built in with the forum scripts ?
