I believe that you are right. The friend site which got PR within a week only had one link from a country' s gov development bureau. That might be valued by G as a high value link.

 

In 2 month link bulding activity... but my blog's PR still 0.
My friends didn't do anything but their Blog PR increase from 1 ti 3.
Owwww..... I'm Confuse...

Go for blog commenting in hr pr blogs and they are permanent.

 

If you have quality content and do few quality link exchanges you will get PR in a couple of months.

PR is somewhat of a myth, especially if you have a site with a lot of pages as the PR at the root domain level is diluted the farther into the site you go.

 

The only ways to get pr are link building and promotion, doing these make it sure that you are linking to related and websites and you have to wait for three months to take effect on your website because every 3months google did their updates.

 

Optimize your website perfectly use keywords ,titles, meta tags, h1 tags, bold tags, alt property etc.... and then create as many pages as you can and then start building links...
