Just as the title said, do you think which language is the hardest to learn and why? French? Russian? Chinese? Arabic? etc.
I think Chinese is one of the most difficult languages to learn! because it has no resemblance to human behavior & thinkings
Statistically speaking Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn but experience wise I had to learn Russian and it was flippin difficult.
it should be Chinese because apart that you will need to learn their grammar, you also need to be careful about how you say it and tone
You all forgot the Thai language, I know a little Chinese (Cantonese) and speak Thai fairly, I can tell you both languages are difficult as there is a specific way to pronouns every word and if you say a word with a slightly different tone, the word get whole new meaning.
Hum... English, Japanese, Franch...all of the languages are difficult to learn, even my mother language Chinese I found it's really so hard to learn...
Of the two, Cantonese is meant to be harder then Mandarin as it uses more tones. But I've heard that English is meant to be a very difficult language to learn because it's derived from so many languages. It's filled with lots of words only subtle differences (like oversee and supervise).
