    If you want to transfer around the world then Wire Transfer is good. :)
    And if its online then PayPal is safe to use.

    ^^ I second DON. xoom is really good and fast way to transfer money. I have used them personally. Best thing about them is you can get your money directly in hard cash if you want. However if you are transferring small amounts then paypal --> your bank first and then wherever you want is the best and cheapest way.
