We are living in the 21st century. Why would anybody want to live their life according to books written over 2000 years ago ? Seems to me that is taking living in the past to the nth degree. Try some independent thinking for a change, or, failing that, lets go back to the origins and bring back the sun god Ra.
The greatest religion is the one that does not practice hypocracy. The problem they are ALL hypocrits. They all preach love each other and not to judge then they turn around and start wars because peeps believe a different god/religion is better. So to answer your question NONE is the best. The sad part is all religions are based on caveman theories and practices. They were all created out of fear of thunder and lightning and not understanding what they were. So since the flash of light and loud sound could not be explained it had to be a man in the sky, sitting on a throne and say your good, your bad, bla, bla, bla. The truth is religion or the gods/devils who represent them do not exist. It is a state of mind nothing more. For a God to exist there must be something it stands for, in most cases good. For a devil to exist the same and usually they stand for evil. The problem is good and evil is subjective to opinion there is NOTHING that is pure good or pure evil, so how can there be a man who stands for either? Say what you want, come up with anything you wish that you feel is pure good or pure evil and I garuntee another culture or group disagrees. Religion is opinions not fact. Not one single religion can be proven to be fact only faith. Thus NONE are the best. I mean think about it and I will use the most evil relgion, christianity, as my example. Lets look at the christian god or son of, Jesus. In 90% of the pictures you see he is a white man with long wavey hair. Fact is he is from a part of the world were the people would not be considered white, so they can't even get the color of their god correct. To continue on the theme of christians being the most evil, look at history, real history not the white mans sugar coated version of history. How many wars have been started by christians? How many millions of people died because some pope said science was wrong? How many nations were destroyed just to spread the word? To spread lies? Now thats just christianity. What about the rest that have murdered in the name of some god over the years? Sure religions do allot of good as well and I see nothing wrong with having faith, but to just blindly believe because you were brainwashed to do so as a child is ignorant. Learn real history and the history of the god whose name you kill in or pray to before being suckered. I could spend hours just telling the REAL history of christianity and how every great event in the bible or great figure was stolen from another religion, but I won't. It is up to each of us to do our own home work and learn the truth of what is fact or fiction. I promise if anyone reading this actually took time to read REAL history, they would laugh in the face of christianity and all other religions. Now to answer the question asked, what is the best religion? They all are. The one each of us believe and follow is the best for us. The ones that are the worst religions are the ones who force their beliefs on others, the funny part is thats 95% of them. So there is NO best or worst religion they are all opinions nothing more. I dare anyone to present a fact. Show me proof, I want to see a peice of the arch or something real, not just hear some mumbling from a man or women telling me what to think. I am not suggesting anyone change what they think or believe all I am asking is to know the truth and FACTS about what you preach before starting the next war or terrorist activity. I mean think about it. The arch was built to hold two of every species of animal correct? Well we have about 2 billion species of animals on the planet today abd about 3 billion back then. So 3x2 would be 6 billion animals. So just how big would that arch have to be to hold 6 billion and all the food and supplies needed? Bigger then anything every built thats for sure. Fact would be something that that big would also have to be well built and lasting. So why has no peices of the arch ever been found? Get my point. Think for yourself. Use facts to decide what you believe and enjoy no matter what you discover or come to. Life is short, lets not make it shorter fighting over invisable men.
Guys I have to share something with you. I woke up today after having a vision. Some chick was standing above my bed holding a list of rules, light was shinning all around her and she told me I was the chosen one. That I was the one picked to spread the word. She handed me the list of rules and truths then floated away back up to heaven. She was an angel and came to me and annointed me the first and only prophit of this new and wonderful religion called Jimism. Yes my name is Jim. Wow what a coincidence!! So I took a minute to adjust my mind to what I have just seen and been told and then decided I better get started spreading the word because judgement day was coming soon she told me. So I sat up, turned on the bed side lamp and rolled out the list of rules and started reading. The following is how the list presented. Comandments of Jimism: 1. Thou shall mow the lawn. 2. Thou shall take out the garbage 3. Thou shall clean the garage 4. Thou shall clean up the dog crap in the yard 5. Thou shall drive Adam and Eve to soccor practice 6. Thou shall clean up the dishes after making lunch 7. Thou shall pick up your dirty socks from the bedroom floor 8. Thou shall sweep the deck 9. Thou shall call your mom today and tell her you love her 10. Thou shall not have sex again unless you follow this list exactly Holy shit guys. It's true a man can wake up one day and have a goddess come to them and make them the choosen one. Tell them to spread the word and all will listen and follow.
