To one of my client websites I have the option to get a free link from a high relevant good quality website. Whether I should get one link from the homepage or obtain a side wide link is the confusion I am facing. Though the qualities of the sitewide links are low but there would be a large quantity of those links when compared to only one homepage link. So, should I get one high quality link that is superior or generate low quality links that will be abundantly present?
I prefer sitewide links from related websites, but if i have to choose to take one high quality related link or to take 1000 not related links i would definetly choose one quality link.
Most of the sitewide links will be ignored, so you get no benefit from there being lots of them. Always go for quality and relevance over quantity.
I would recommend a single link for home page. Thats the key to the site so. This is my opinion. Home page should be strong to withheld the visitor on the site.
Nowadays a homepage link would be better, since sidewides are not working as powerful as before. Tip: if you would be able to get your link in-the-textual-content of this mainpage, the effect will rise significantly. Good luck.
PR homepage link is more value cuz it has pr which will give a better linkjuice on your site. But i am not sure as sitewides link could get benefit or not as you can see the sitewide links is also from the high pr site as well,
Sitewide link actually also placed on homepage... then why is it no better than a link placed on homepage only?
