    if you want fast stats AWstat, if you want very accurate and informative stats, Google Analytics is the way to go.

    Also very easy to implement and do follow ups on multiple projects, integrate with adsense, ...

    Awstats is not installed on websites. You need to have your website hosted on a web hosting account that has CPanel and in the CPanel you have Awstats automatically - you can view the statistics there.

    No, Godaddy hosting doesn't have CPanel. You can try HostGator or BlueHost.

    Just make sure your webhost has a decent control panel like Cpanel or Plesk and you will have AWstats for sure. I think DirectAdmin provides AWstats aswell?

    Some hosts install AWstats manually since it doesn't need a control panel to function so I would start by mailing your current hosting provider.
