Setting up your own server or using some service? We are looking for one time solution which will work with even lakhs of email in coming future. Please suggest with your experience. Thanks
Both aWeber and MailChimp have free packages, start off on their free packages and both have API integration and a range of plugins/software to use to create email newsletters and ways for people to signup to your newsletter
Aweber doesn't actually have a free plan, but rather $1 first month, then $19/mo - unlimited emails. Mailchimp does offer free package (no autoresponder), with 12.000 monthly emails.
Slice is right, my bad.. Aweber offers the $1 trial month but at $19/month it's pretty cheap! I use MailChimp just because I've been using it for so long (Almost 2 years now) and never had a problem with spam boxes etc... It works like a charm and offers some really nicely designed email templates
I use mandrill for my emails - it's run by the same guys as mailchimp. It's more transnational than newsletter, but works well.
I prefer Global NPN to use as an autoresponder. Not only is an autoresponder but it provides a lot of tools that make it easy for an internet marketer. There is a tracker, a blog platform, and hosting and lots more all covered in the one monthly price. I still have a small account at Aweber but found NPN to be much better.

Aweber or Getresponse is your best way. There are others too. Mailchimp, icontact, constant contact, it doesn't really matter. Any of the big commercial email providers will work well. And I would typically advise against starting your own solution. That could be time consuming, cause lots of headaches, and would probably have LESS deliverability than a major service such as aweber or getresponse.
$19 - 500 subscribers Unlimited Emails Does this mean can only send to 500 email address? I am looking for send to thousands of email.
I only know for getresponse. It is 15/month for 1000 subscribers 25/month for 2500 subscribers 65/month for 6500 subscribers. If you have thousands of emails then 65 should be peanuts to you right? or if you need more, can drop them an email for a quote. IMO mailchimp is probably the most cost effective and value for the price. Aweber is good and you should look at them as well.
I use a Wordpress plugin called ALO Easymail Newsletter. Works like a charm for me but my list is under 10,000 and it takes a few days to send all those emails.
