Which is the Best Way to Secure our WP Blog ?

    Hello,

    I am a Tech blogger since 2 year a,nd using WP since 1 year now i would like to know 1 thing How could we secure our WP blog from our enemy or hackers ?

    OR Can we do secure from hosting ?

    Please share your experience or idea ..

    My recommendations:
    1. Secure login by installing linit login attempts plugin.
    2. Change default admin username.
    3. Don't install wp via fantastico. install wp manually.
    4. Install proper virus guard like KIS 2012 or ESET in your computer.
    5. Take frequent backups. (daily,weekly etc.)

    Some more addition ..

    Always have a index.html file in plugin/theme/ upload folder
    put .htaccess file in wp-admin folder.
    install wordpress security plugin like wpsecure ..etc
    Disable plugin/ theme editing from backend

    etc etc
