    Dear...You will find a lot of way for visitors traffic, if you want traffic from SEO...you have to create quality backlinks from high page rank sites. If you want traffic other than search engines, you can go through SMO including Social Networking sites and you can go through PPC Advertising Model which you will get instant traffic, but you have to pay some amount for each clicks when any users click on your ads.

    you can post your link(s) to answer sites, forum, article sites, etc (because Google love those websites and Google will put those websites on the first few pages if the information is relevant.

    you can comes out with some questions that you thinks people may ask and put those questions onto Google Alert.

    Google Alert will sent you websites that is relate to question(s) you putted on Google Alert (Google Alert will sent you those websites to your email IMMEDIATELLY, right after that person created their content. You can be the first one post the comment, hence people will saw your comment first when they visit that web page. Cool huh?). (dont forget to use " at the beginning and at the end of each question to tell Google you wants websites that are similar to your questions.)
    You can get really targeted traffic by using this method, and most importantly it's FREE.But,it’s important to solve the problem, provide a solution to a problem is crucial

    Doing traditional seo would be a good method.
    But the truth is that the methods you have to try ,depends the kind of traffic you need.
    If you sell a product or service SEO would be the best thing.
    SEO traffic is the best because is free and higly targeted!
    If you need just pageviews and massive traffic without have problem the quality and the geo you can order order traffic from websites that selling in bulk.
    In that case you must be careful to not get banned from serious advertising companies....
