Wow, I can`t believe some people are just repeating other peoples advices.

I`ll say this once, and to future readers of this thread because it got too much attention.

They all are nofollow sites for a reason, its to fight off spam. I wouldnt focus on any do follow sites. Also when you are linking to any of these sites, ask yourself, is this related to my websites industry in any way?

If you dont believe me right click "view page source" and use the "find function" and type in "nofollow".

Just Follow the rules of Google adwards .. and then do Social Bookmarking .. I think Social book marking is very helpful to get back links.

 

The best would be Yahoo directory but it's not really worth the money. Maybe it is.

But the best value backlink would be a site that had your keywords that is ranked high.
