I have 2 website and done lots of link building work but still didnt have single backlicks.

can someone guide me which are different ways i get a back links for my site. i know blog posting and forum posting.

 

do directories, classifieds, and also do internal backlinking from blogs etc.

 

Guest posts on blog are extremely powerful, become part of a private network.

That's exactly right... I haven't submitted my site anywhere and all links are natural to my site... I get plenty of traffic. Some people are still stuck in the year 2000 and are still using the techniques that worked back then - probably because they are being misinformed and reading old guides...

 

very true. but also, many people here give bad advice. I been arguing with another guy ni another thread because he said some dumb shit. But my point is, you are right, people still think these old methods still work.

 

Yup - I see it all the time here to, directory "owners" pushing the importance of directory submissions and then there's the blog commenters that swear by this practice, then article submissions... the fact is if you don't have the content on your own site then you will fail - no matter how many links that you have coming in.

On site SEO is the key now - linking back and forth to your own related content carries an important part in seo, correctly formatted images and videos also play a role, keyword research and keeping an eye on trends are also important... there's 1000's of popular keywords with little to no competition.

Last of all - if people spent all the time on their own site - instead of on other sites promoting theirs... they'd be fine and get traffic. It shits me when some people spend 95% of the time on other sites building links, posting articles etc. I rarely leave my site to promote it elsewhere...
