I've been using google analytics too but never noticed that it gave uncorrect results. But it's report is not realtime, it take some time to update the data.

GoStats is a realtime option which you can try. Plus GoStats has features similar to Google analytics which may be what you're looking for.

Stat Counter and Google Analytics.. are personal favorites.. but your gonna have to try and search around until you find one that suits your needs. Just because we have our favorites doesnt mean like them.

    Also,

With the XML daily export feature in Analytics you can integrate you data daily with anything else you would like.

I don't know if GoStats offers this, but I would guess not.

If you don't try gostats, you will never know. ;) How can anyone "know" when they haven't even investigated?

@AllproJJ I guess you haven't tried gostats either ;) gostats does not log limit, plus has more features. :)

For several months I used quantcast. But they changed their code a few months ago, which caused me to lose 2 weeks for of data. It would have been nice if they would have sent out an email letting their members know what was going on.

A few days ago I put a quantcast tag back on my main site to see how the new version is working. Over all it seems like a good service, after all it is free.

After quantcast I recommend Google Analytics. The one draw back I do not like about Analytics, it does not give you a list of similar sites that your members visit. Quantcast gives you a report stating who some of your biggest competitors are.

Does google Analytics give you a chart you can put in your site that will show the amount of traffic? Quancast did, but I am not sure if they still do.

Analytics has an XML export that you can do daily. You can basically do anything you want with the information and reports catalogued within your analytics.

So the short answer to your question is, yes.

I'd like to point out that the original person is asking for an alternative to googleanalytics. (I did take issue with your first reply)

Your stats related nickname "analyticsjack", indicates that you must have tried other products too?

It's fair to assume that someone with the name gostats would have a good knowledge of the gostats product and also other similar products. There is hence fair disclosure of bias and association. I'm keen to correct anyone who may not have full information or may seem to be promoting one program blindly as being the best. My counter-points are all fair.

I only have good intentions and wish the best for you. I am looking forward to some insightful and neutral opinions from you about web stats. :)

You my friend wouldn't know neutral if it were rotting under your nose.

Also, I looked over your gostats and prefer googles solution. Sorry bro. End of story there. My name indicates I am plugging a product? Wha?

Acting like your not building backlinks in the relevant forum and that you are "helping peolple" by dropping your link every thread is lame bro.

    Oh yea, good luck! :)
