    Which is the Best tool for website stats? the one which is most accurate,
    like awstats, histats, whos.amung.us etc

    Awstats should be very accurate, server side.
    Maybe you would like to see services such as Google Analytics.
    Or you can self host a service such as Piwik (Similar to Google Analytics, just that you will not share any stats with 3rd party).

    I use a combination of AWStats(Most host have it) and Google Analytics.

    As i feel and use, i think that eLogic will be better for you. it provides you services upto three level. and the BASIC package of this is also free...

    No software is perfect and precise. moreover it depends on your requirement. imo google analytics is most accurate. Did you try statcounter. Google analytics is monster. It all depends on the reports you want. For simple site i use statcounter. if i want detailed information i use google analytics

    Like many others have said, you should probably use two.

    AWStats should be available in your hosting control panel and is very effective.

    Google Analytics is the program that is going to let you dig the deepest and get the most info on demographics.

    I like to use both, because then I can verify the information by comparing the two.

    I've tried almost every stats tool.
    But Google analytics is the best one.
    If you are looking for accurate and deeper result, Better you choose Google Adsense rather than all of the above tools.

    I would say AW stats is the best one, more detailed then webalizer wich is kinda basic i would say.
    If you want to pay i do suggest pingdom it is a great tool for monitoring your website!
