Long description + Keywords only (do not include for example: The, Best, An, or other grammar words) and try to avoid Yousite.com infront of your title.

    I use the following approach.

Your homepage contains popular keywords from the title list above such as:
    • rock
    • sound
    • music
    • new

Strangely enough, "first" is not a popular keyword even though it is in your tagline "new music first" and I assume that being the first shows the added value of this site. This can be emphasized by adding the word first into your content.

When choosing a title you can then emphasize on keywords or on brand by starting the title with the most important one. I would start with the keywords in the title and end with the brand (rock sound) to have the most out of Google. Due to the nice design and url, the branding of the word sound rock is already strong.

Another choice to be made is the use of words like from, in, the, etc. These are considered to be of low value to Google but can make your title more readable if shown as the title on the search engine result page (SERP) or in automated directories and lists. I would try to minimize these useless words and try to make the title a clear header without making a complete sentence.

Don't make the title very long. Use 2-5 keywords and the brand of the site "rock sound". Make sure you have a different title (and description) on all pages. Include the main keywords of the content of that page in its title.

The above could lead to titles such as.

New music and news | Sound Rock
New rock music | Sound Rock

You can add "first" to the title and to the content of your site.

I would say the second option is the best listed but I always make my Titles

    {Keyword} {Keyword} - {Site Name}

Cheers for your input oeroek. Do you think there is any advantage or disadvantage to include
the url of the site in the title, for example New Rock Music - rock-sound.net

This is the branding I was referring to. I used "rock sound" in my example but if it regards branding, the url rock-sound.net is probably better if it helps people to remember your site.

It is the same advice as Diablos has given. He used a lot less words to explain it, hehe.
