    GIMP is also a good program to do graphics design and sometimes i find it easier to use than Photoshop

    My all time favorite graphic design software would be Photoshop, a good freeware version would be Gimp :)

    1 software is not best for all works.
    If you want to design your logo illurtratorn will be best and for editing picture photoshop will be best.
