Most directory submission softwares I've seen do function as browsers. In fact most of them contain an embedded version of the internet explorer browser as a means of loading the directory submission page. They even "make the submission" by simulating a user clicking the submit button on the page.

Essentially, there's little difference in implementation between a form filler and directory submission software - the form filler is usually an add-in to a browser, while the directory submission software uses a browser as an add-in to itself.

I can tell from that statement that you've never used submiteaze or other submission software (or a decent one anyway) have you? Or if you had, you'd know it displays a list of categories to choose from, and it attempts to find a suitable match based on the list of categories you've entered. You then see which category it has picked, so if you're not happy then you can change it.

I think people seem to think using submission software is a blind submission where you just click a "Go" button and you don't see what's happening - you can actually see what data is being submitted, and you can change it.

In fact, have a look here and you'll understand:

    http://www.submiteaze.com/demos/turbosubmitter.html

If you're going to cast judgement on something, it's usually a good idea to have an understanding on what you're actually judging.

It doesn't work as a web browser, it interprets data, the same as a web browser. My point being, the directories aren't some magical entity that only work in a web browser. Fundamentally it's HTML which is processed, and you post data back - that's all that's happening. Whether this is done via a web browser or a submission software makes no difference at all.

Correct, i have never used any of them.

Yes it's a good idea to have an understanding of something to cast judgement on it, which is the reason i felt i needed to explain that as a manual submitter i dont use something that means im not there submitting and as in my other post i have to sit there and take my time submitting.

Avoid Submiteaze, Scammers, do it by hand.

You shoudl only be doing 10-15 a day anyway, shouldnt take to long by hand.

I've used both of those packages in the past but they charge you for every website you want to submit, whereas with submiteaze you only pay once, and you can submit to website directories and article directories without needing to buy another package. I switched to submiteaze and never looked back - far better IMO

    Hi

Instead of submitting to web directories by software , its good if you submit it manually....By practice you can submit your link to 100 directories within one hour...This speed is as good as software...
Take time to submit your link to my new directory : www.byglist.com

    Cheers
