I've read a lot of SEO ebooks and courses. But I'm still in search for the most professional and comprehensive SEO courses which teache all details like:

    1. On-page SEO,
    2. Different unique link building tactics forgotten by many (not those which many know and use)
    3. Revolutionary SEO strategies
    4. Real tactics that gets to the first page of Google within a shorter time
    5. Creating professional SEO reports for every website
    6. As well as tips on how to find SEO clients
    And much more...

I would be thankful to every DP member for his comment or suggestion. I would prefer you to share your knowledge or experience with any course you've tried.

    Thanks

I think there is no such a SEO course to include all that you want. The best solution is to find some SEO expert to teach you :)

But, if you want to learn SEO than it is not the best solution to pay for some "general" courses. And those who knows all the stuff and are top class do not care to teach somebody because thay are paid very good :)

So, it is good to invest money in websites which will give you place to practice and so on... Also, learning and reading forums, blog posts and also will help a lot. But there are many outdated or just wrong sources.

So, experience is everything. Begin with your online business and try everything yourself :)
First go for non to low competitive keywords, then try to find some small business clients and that's the way you should go :)

You didn't understand me. I've enough experience in this field and am still improving my knowledge and experience testing various tactics in practice. I want to master SEO and also get certificated by a reliable course / training company.

One can be very good in SEO, but to be professional we need to get professional knowledge from experts. As I cannot invest in individual coaching I prefer courses or trainings.

So please share any useful information you know on this topic.

    Thanks

honestly, the best method is to keep reading, and then experiment by putting things into practice. Run a website, even if a free hosted one on blogger / wordpress or squidoo. Do some offsite link building tests, directories, forum posts, social bookmarking, etc. and you'll see what works best for you.

    Hey Xanum,

Once you learn all of the things you want to learn on SEO maybe you should write an eBook covering it in detail. Chances are, if you are having a question about it someone else is too. If you cant find anything on the net covering it then you are one step ahead of everyone.

Best of luck to ya bud

Here is my take on how to learn search engine optimization (SEO). It doesn't happen overnight. It is a process that usually takes years to even become moderately competent.

I recommend starting out with a few good books. There are LOTS of good books available these days. Just make sure they have been published in the last year or two. Books will teach you the foundations of SEO - the jargon and concepts - in an orderly, structured fashion. Learning online will NOT do that.

Then follow a few SEO greats like Aaron Wall, Danny Sullivan, Eric Ward, Bill Slawski, Rand Fishkin, etc. for a year or so. As you learn from them, experiment with what you've learned on your own sites. Experience is the BEST teacher.

Avoid forums except for maybe WebmasterWorld (it's highly moderated and they don't tolerate people giving out bad advice) until you have a year or so of experience. 99% of the people posting on forums know just enough to be dangerous and to get you (and more importantly your sites) in trouble.

There is good information that can be found in online forums, but it's like searching for a new shirt at TJ Maxx. You have to look through 1000 crappy shirts that were flops in the retail world in order to find that 1 good shirt that is actually worth buying.

Don't start trolling forums until you can tell the difference between those who know their stuff and those who are blowing smoke up your b*tt. Otherwise you'll waste a lot of time on wild goose chases based on bad advice.

And I never miss a chance to attend Pubcon, a great search engine marketing conference. I am there in Las Vegas every Nov/Dec, and will be again this year. The sessions are good, but the information you pick up there networking with other search marketing professionals after hours is absolutely priceless.

    Good luck.

Yes you do need to understand that SEO is related to so many differerent aspects and stratigies which is combined to provide better optimization for the search engines to find you. The best way to learn more since you already know a lot is to get more experience, research, research, did I say research? You must not give up on learning new stratigies and techniquies to better your self, and that is to push yourself to research and learn more. You can take a few different courses and certifications to learn a little bit about SEO and a lot about SEM search enigine management and Googles Adwords, these courses are offered by Google at http://www.google.com/intl/en/adwords/professionals/
