Which is the best PHP Rapid application development ( RAD ) tools

Any one know which is the best Rapid application development ( RAD ) Tools for PHP. it must be drag and drope tools and to be written much faster, and makes it easier to change requirements.

 

i dont really understand this question. if its what i think it is, there is none. are you looking for an editor maybe smiler to visual studios or somthing? if this is the case you wont find one. Adobe Dreamweaver might be the closet thing...

 

I don't think a visual development environment like that exists for PHP. I may be wrong though.

There is not exactly a RAD tool available for PHP. There might be some, but not popular and mature enough anyway. Netbeans or eclipse PDT are two of the best PHP editing tools available. These are not exactly drag and drop like Expression Studio. But they have code completion feature that boosts your coding speed considerably.

That's the best you can get for PHP.

 

Are you referring to PHP frameworks ?

 

dreamweaver is faster in design mode but for scripting eclipse is more efficient

 

You use drag & drop to develop a desktop app. Since PHP doesn't have control of the user's desktop, you don't develop PHP apps the same way. You could use Dreamweaver, or some other nursery school program, to drag & drop the HTML code and then drop it into your PHP file using HEREDOC or a lot of echo statements, but it's a lot easier in the long run to learn how to actually write the code.

There are a number of PHP Frameworks that help in rapid application development, but they all have their own different tools.

 

I have tested a few, and the only one who is not database driven is the scriptcase, witch is an application oriented type of generator.

All the others looks the same.
