I'm now finding the new way to accept credit/debit card. Used PAYPAY and GOOGLE CHECKOUT. Both are very good, but GOOGLE CHECKOUT need user to register account with them. I need one or two more payment processor to accept card payment because my sales growing so fast and i selling virtual good, I still having problem with some harmful sale, they received product and then request refund. And product i selling is not protected by GOOGLE. If you have any EXP, please compare. -1 PAYPAY ( not PAYPAL ) -2 GOOGLE CHECKOUT -3 2CO -4 PAYPAL -5 WORLDPAY ..other..... Please give me your answer, thanks.
PayPal is most used in virtual goods business I think. If your product is related to MLM then you may go with AlertPay as they have a full acceptance for MLM products. MoneyBookers ..a lot of verification and you'll get your acc blocked just when you dont expect it. Google Checkout..another good option.. didnt used before but heard good things abt them WorldPay .. I think another good option for accepting Credit cards.
if you want problem free business, then try ePassporte.com, e-Bullion.com, E-Gold.com, MoneyBookers.com etc....
From my personal point of view Paypal is best as its widely accepted payment processing. My second choice is Moneybookers after paypal. DON.
I'd go with 1. Moneybookers 2. Old PayPal I know there are a lot of other payment processing websites, but I just don't trust them.
Moneybookers + alertpay + click2pay ... = users have to register an account with them? If so, it is webmasters friendly but not customers friendly If you want to sell efficiently online, people have to pay easily without registering to anything (especially for low cost digital goods) My 2 cents
I'm sort of in the same boat as the poster. I'd use google since I love google, but the whole idea of needing an account to buy something just gets on my nerves. As much as I hear the horror stories of paypal, everything from their cuts to being able to have payment put right into my bank account are all great. Processing credit card payments with my bank would cost more. I've heard of moneybookers, can you have your funds put directly into your bank account?
Google Checkout doesn't have merchant protect for virtual goods. It's not the good choice. Also, i can find the limit time for buyer request money back, can't find in any help topic. What about some people bought my product and downloaded but after 400days they request chargeback ? Another case happended with me, one buyer downloaded my product > Request charge back > Google need me provide proof > I send it to Google > All i receive is just an email notice about i will know the chargeback status after 90days > Still waiting for final result.
