Ive been with hawkhost for a few months now, their cheap, offer great support and have awesome uptime. If your looking for small amounts of bandwidth and disk space (3 GB disk space & 30 GB bandwidth) then it'll only cost you a little over $3 USD which is perfect!

i suggest you to use hostgator, i tried them for one month, 3 times dispute paypal because someone use my paypal for hostgator and they refund, also quick respond from their cs. their uptime also good and price is reasonable.

In my opinion, GoDaddy is only good for domains. I use NAME.com btw.

For hosting, definitely byethost. No problems ever since I signed up for paid hosting.

I don't have so much to compare to but I've always used HostGator and I really like them. I think the service is good and the servers are nice. Their dedicated servers can be a little expensive but your site is always safe with HostGator.

In my opinion, hostgator is the best overall, from their 24 x 7 phone, online chat and email support to their pricing (host unlimited sites and domains for $7.95) to the features that they support. That being said, there are a lot of other low cost quality web hosts out there.
