I would always remember the old saying, "you get what you pay for." While you can get extremely cheap hosting it's more likely these companies will have bad support systems which can result in some really mad future members or customers, depending on what website you have. I always recommend Godaddy. Forty to fifty dollars for one year is not unreasonable by any means.

I'm currently with HostMonster, I wouldn't recommend it as my CPU throttles here and there which equals slow loading etc. However, good support and offers e.g. $50 free Adwords.

I've also been using hostgator for a while, and their support is great. I can usually get my problem fixed quickly with their live chat feature.

HostGator is definetely the best one in total. I'm hosting a lot of my sites over there, and haven't had a single downtime so far ;). They're very cheap too so that's another positive point. Some people spread negative news about Hostgator, but it's not for nothing that they're hosting over 65000 clients! :D

    Greetz!

I have used Dreamhost for almost 1 year now, they are good, no problem with the server or support, i just can't digest the fact that they are basically overselling & lying to me about that 500 gig disc space.

So for this year i am moving the 4 smaller sites i have to a more smaller but truer host http://www.thiswebhost.com/

Godaddy is a shitty host. They are good for domains but their hosting is pathetic.

Hostgator is good, ive used them, but when you have a big site, its not enough. Im sorry, but 64 MB for a script is way to low.

Thats why i went and got my dedicated quad core, if you want good and reliable hosting, PM me and ill offer my services. But if your looking for hosting thats cheap, Hostgator is your best bet. Just be warned about the limit and speed, "you get what you pay for". ;)

Defiantly Host Gator. They offer virtualy everything. Plus they offer unlimted bandwidth file storage, domain names, and more for a flat rate each month. My plan with them is $7.99 a month it's worth it!
