Which is the best niche/product which gives high commissions and sells like hotcakes

Friends, would anyone like to share their 'secret' niches/products which give a high comm amount (Over USD 75 per sale) AND sells like hotcakes too ? I know, if you are selling such a product, you would be reluctant to give it away but I had to give this a shot. LOL.

Basically, I am asking as I tried to promote the forex niche coz of the lucrative commissions but it just didn't work for me :( I tried selling through article marketing - Did I do something wrong or just choose the wrong niche ?

    Thanks,
    Jo

Dude, first off it ain't all about the niche. There are people who can make any niche work well, it just takes alot of time and effort until you see a nice consistent amount of income.

What you want to do is to build a list of questions to ask and then find a product that fits the criteria, questions like:

    • What's the competition like? Will it be hard to crack using free methods? What sort of long tails are there for that niche/product?
    • Is the sales page/copy good? Are there any leaks? If so how many? Is the vendor building a list? Are backend sales in your name offered?
    • What can you do with it? Can you cross promote with other products to create an authority site? Is there a good opportunity to build a list?

All key questions to ask yourself :)

I always wondered why FAB turbo has such a high gravity.. I Don't see too much competition (not even in PPC) ..

Some weight loss products convert quite well at least they did for me..

You are right - It has high gravity but didn't convert too well from me/ I did better in the relationship niche but now I am getting greedy. It's sad to see my paychecks are as low as USD 77 ... when others are as good as USD 1800...sigh... and all they do is sell these forex products which get in the money !

Weightloss is a saturated niche. There is a stiff competition in it. For a newbie, one should try other available niches.

Plus... weightloss doesn't give high commissions ? However, this way, I'd say even forex is saturated and high competition niche.

Forex is not a good niche, it has so high refund rate, personally I dont recommend it to you.

Well then I wonder how come so many affiliates are selling forex products like hot cakes and making money off them ? I guess the reason could be the high comm %. For a normal product, comm would be approx usd 20 and low refund rate and for a forex product with usd 75 comm, even if the aff would have a relatively higher refund rate, he would earn more. Am I right ? Anyone who is currently promoting forex products can maybe shed some more light ?

Higher commission doesn't mean you'll earn more in the long run. I haven't made much money with products paying out 60$ or more.

Instead, find a nice produt paying like 33$, properly promote it, establish a nice conversion rate, and it will add up quickly.

This is what I would do.

Also, if you are trying to find a good niche/product, use your brain! Think! You should think like this "what do guys/girls like the most and what will sell?".

Do that will get your mind rolling, and if you target maybe the middle-age and older people, you can possibly make more money, because many of them don't know a whole lot about computers... yet. So you ahve a better chance. I hope I helped. :)

Thats good advice. I'm going to try and promote 2 high gravity products - One with high commissions and one with low, just to see how it goes.
