It depends on your budget if you choice the best for cheaper budget the best is ASUS and for expenses is MAC.
Mac is a great laptop if you have the money to drop. You really can't go wrong with a dell computer. Asus also makes a great system. Look up reviews on cnet! look at their top editors choice for laptops and you can't go wrong!
I will pick Sony VAIO SR Series and the Dell Inspiron 15 as the best laptop today, they have the best Quality Features and like by most Users and specifications
My vote goes for Acer albeit they are not the sexiest looking laptops going but for reliabilty and value for money they take alot of beating,i have 3 Acer laptops and 3 desktop computer.
You can never go wrong with either Asus, Acer or MSI. They make their own laptops as opposed to other brands. The rest buy their laptops from what is called an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM). Then, they install the hard drive (usually an IBM, Hitachi, or Toshiba), processor (Pentium, Celeron, or AMD) and system memory (RAM). Installing these last three components is very easy to do, and leaving these for "the last minute" allows for a wide range of custom configurations. So your new HP laptop might be made by Asus after all.
So many advice for Dell. But I recommend IBM. Even I bought my IBM from the second hand market, it is good to use. Let alone the new ones. The day before yesterday, I put IBM on the desk and then went to work. My nephew, a smart boy pushed it down to the floor, but the computer is safe. So, IBM is the best.
I´ve just bought a Sony VPC-F11S1E/B with an i7-720QM processor, 6 GB DDR Ram, 500 GB hardrive,NIVIDIA GeForce GT-330M graphic 1GB, 16,4" Display,BlueRayDiscPlyer,DolbyHomeTheatre,W-Lan,Bluetooth,Webcam. What shall I say - This Laptop really ROCKS! Great quality, works super fast with multible simultanious proccess, Superior Display. Hope this, ramses1
I think the question has no answer personally. The "best" depends on what you intend to use it for, and there is no flatout best hardware manufacturer or operating system etc. Dell/HP/Asus/Sony/Gateway/Lenovo/Apple all make excellent computers.
