Why bother if a piece of content is not indexed. if it’s not indexed and you publish it on you site and make sure it’s indexed, google will think you’re the initial creator of that content.

As a content writer i use PlagiarismcheckerX to check for plagiarism in bulk quantity. The reports it generates are quite helpful.

If you want to use free tools you can opt for Plagium, Duplichecker, small seo tools etc.
If you are a content writer you should go for a premium version of Grammarly. I am using it and it's really very helpful.

From my experience, Copyscape can't handle searches with a single box containing multiple articles so well. That's why I find Google to actually be the better choice if you know how to use it, not to mention free.

Being a content writer and using plagiarism checkers for quite a long time, I can recommend only paid checkers: Unplag.com , http://turnitin.com/ . They are much better than free checkers, which are limited in functions and can not guarantee correct and reliable checking results.

I don't really know which one is the best. But i use free version - noplag.com and sometimes use my friends account at grammarly, not very different. I like both.

All these content writers using copyscape to check their own work. What are you people being paid for, if you're plagiarising other articles?

I've maybe used copyscape once or twice but haven't found it to be worth it. Now, I just copy and paste a paragraph from the article into Google and see what happens. I'm a writer, too. When I get in over my head, I use iWriter, which (supposedly) automatically checks the content using copyscape (if I remember it correctly, it's been a while). Since I'm meticulous, I usually go through and rewrite chunks of the handed in article anyway - I need to do that in order to make it sound more like it's written by me. I don't pay enough to tell a writer to mimic my style- I know how time consuming that can be because I've done it before. Frankly, I have enough trouble finding native English speakers nowadays.

Members are already stated the tools and its better to try them all to satisfy your needs and I would recommend using Google to check duplicates in your content.
