    That's the only reason I use OpenCart over Magento, it's just too hungry and I just can't seem to get good loading times.

    You are supposed to be able to tweak you server for Magento, but saying that there are many hosts that have specific Magento hosting these days.

    I guess you may have to get a dedicate server or vps to be able to use Magento

    i tried zen and open cart on my local host
    and i prefer opencart

    that way it is built. and everything
    and the community support is also great.
