I am looking to install a forum on my website. As my name says, I am a starter on the web. Could someone tell me which is the easy to install, easy to manage and customize forum that I could use.
    thanks

try to install Vbulletin which cost 180$ and if you need free try to install SMF of PHPBB

Thats a great thread. I think I will get on to SMF now and change to VB later.
Vanilla appears to be rather drab.

Vanilla is simple but extensible with addons. I prefer it for not that tech-savvy users. For example, on SEO forum and Chrome forum I'll go with more advanced vBulletin.
