If your looking for software to install on your own server I would recommend List Mail Pro. If you want an email marketing service the best option is Imnicamail.com. Get all the great features you with with Aweber but get them at about 75% off.
Aweber is a must for me, its just the most useful i have come accross and the customer support is top notch.
Just sign up for Aweber, or as an alternative iContact or GetResponse. I wouldn't go with any company besides those 3
I would add MailChimp to this list, I know a lot of people are using it. I'm using AWeber and I have for several years. I'm very satisfied with them. - Jens
Aweber is the top of line and very reliable. They're definitely worth the money. The first month is just $1. Then it's $20 a month until you rise up the tiers of subscribers. It takes a little longer than you think to get subscribers unless you've tapped a really good viral or high-traffic source. Remember to provide good solid content to your list. Things that are useful to them. Another thing you can do is use Aweber to send a blog broadcast. What that means is that people can subscribe to your blog and receive blogposts via email without using the feedburner email box. With Aweber, you can send a broadcast out to you list on products you want to promote.
I recommend either Aweber or MailChimp. If you don't mind paying money when first starting out, go with Aweber. If you want to WAIT to pay, use MailChimp because they have a free option for your first 500 subscribers. If you treat your list right and focus on earning trust with them, you'll be in profit well before you reach 500 subscribers... and when you do, it's only $15/month. Both are very reliable. Aweber because just about everyone and their mother uses them (they have to be reliable if people are resting their entire businesses with them)... and MailChimp is reliable because I personally use them myself. Hope that helps! Jonathan Beebe
I went with Aweber off the bat. Make time to get used to the whole system and it's actually pretty easy to use. Reliable too.
Personally, we do a more image heavy style of email marketing then most to our current clients. For us, AdWeber isn't quite good enough, so we pay the monthly fee (yes it is expensive) to Constant Contact which we think is about the best there is out there.
There is also Rapid Response Bot. You just pay one time $67...simple interface and good fast support!

I am sorry to say that I don't prefer mail marketing. This may create negative impression and is treated as spam for any person. So instead of continuing with email I suggest you to use other techniques.
