Which is the Best Domain Registrar for SEO and value?

    I have a fantastic host I am happy with, but want a better domain registrar, as my current one only lets you buy domains for a 2 year period and this reflects badly on SEO.

    How is GoDaddy for JUST domain registration, nothing else?

    Heard some bad stories but also some good?

    GoDaddy is one the main players in the domain registration market. You should have no issues with them.

    Other companies include Namecheap,name.com and Dynadot.

    Godaddy is good but I also like namecheap as you get free whois privacy protection with each domain you buy with them.

    I'm unaware that namecheap gives free privacy protection. Then you should opt NameCheap otherwise I would prefer GoDaddy
